| A little about meMy husband and I met at a ballroom dancing school in the sixties in the U.K. After we married, we came to Australia and raised two beautiful daughters.
My eldest daughter had planned a big white wedding in England, but was unexpectedly offered a job in the Middle East, so mum came in handy. I was thrilled to marry them before they left. We had the loveliest white wedding, and I got to be the mother of the bride as well.
I have always been involved in community activities, as a Justice of the Peace and as a volunteer in school activities, palliative care hospitals, a women's refuge, Calvary, and the Wayside Chapel. Why I became a celebrantI love working with people. Planning, officiating and creating memorable ceremonies are a source of pride to me. One of the unexpected pleasures is marrying my own friends and their sons and daughters. I am so honoured to be in this profession and I love performing weddings.
